Coatings and Finishes
Context Engineering stock standard products, i.e. Split Body enclosures in a natural brushed aluminum finish, as well as a black, hard anodized finish. The enclosures are sanded and grained to give you a high quality look and feel.
Your custom orders can be finished to your specifications and requirements. Chemical conversions such as irridite in gold or clear, or anodize finish, clear, or a color of your choosing. Paint or powder coat in specified PMS colors are available. Or, if you wish to provide a sample part, we can match to that color. If conductivity is an issue, we can mask parts where necessary, before finishing.
Laser etching provides a very sharply defined, durable mark for your Company name and Logo, etc. By removing the finish and baring the natural metal we can achieve a top quality look to your products.
If you require colored (or multiple colored) markings, then silk-screening is the way to go. Or, if you are using a natural or light colored finish, then a contrast colored paint on the silk-screen will make your products outstanding.
