The Split Body design is a 4-part enclosure. The top and bottom halves are extruded aluminum, with interior slots to hold circuit boards. These parts are completely interchangeable, and fit together with a tongue on one side and a slot on the other.
The end caps have four mounting holes and are affixed to the extrusion with self-tapping screws. These enclosures are available in 9 different profiles, in widths from 2.5 inches to 6 inches.
The Modular Series are a 6-part enclosure. The side rails are extruded aluminum, and come in 3 different heights, 1u, 2u, and 3u. Top and bottom plates are cut to your specific width and depth. The end caps are extruded aluminum material with a stiffener bar on the inside edge, to prevent any flex or gaping. The ends are attached into the tapped holes in the extrusion with machine screws. These enclosures can be manufactured in widths to 17 inches and depths of 22 inches. They can be supplied with either a flush end cap (desktop style) or a 19-inch end, for rack mounting (Rackmount style). The Rackmount end cap has optional handles.
The Flange style box is a 6-part enclosure. The side rails are 3 inches in height, and have a right angle flange at the bottom of the side rail, which allows the enclosure to be affixed to a level surface. The flange enclosure is fabricated to you desired width and depth, just as the Desktop style.
The Keypad enclosure is a u-shaped open top extrusion, which allows for a custom keypad membrane to be overlaid on the top. Available in a width to accommodate 3.5-inch circuit boards, this extrusion can be cut to your desired length.
